Why use ISO tanks?

ISO Tanks deliver real-time and labour savings while making door-to-door transport a smooth operation. Loaded and discharged using standard in-plant liquid transfer systems, tanks are lifted using standard ISO equipment. The switch between road, rail, and sea or storage at a destination is safe, straightforward, and economical. T11 tanks are approved to the highest standards by international statutory authorities for the safe transportation of a wide range of liquid products and, in particular, the following:

Liquids

with a flashpoint of less than 0° C
Certain high-hazard toxins or corrosives
Spontaneously combustible materials
Cargoes that are dangerous when exposed to moisture
Oxidizing substances

Please note that in certain exceptional cases, the containers operated by Danteco may have specifications that differ from the descriptions above.

Also, cargo in a container must conform to the dimensional regulations and laws stipulated by the host country; thus, payload capacity may be affected.

Bottom Discharge	80mm(3") Guard high lift foot valve and Guard clamped 80mm (3") butterfly valve. Outlet 3" BSP screw thread and cap.
Remote Closure	The bottom valve closure device is fitted together with the provision of a fusible link.
Gaskets & Seals	Parts in contact with cargo, PTFE/Teflon.
Steam Heating	7.5m² (80'²) effective surface area, eight external steam ducts, ¾" BSP screw inlet/outlet, and cap. Maximum pressure 4 bars. Tank max temperature 130°C.
Insulation	50mm (2") total comprising 50mm mineral wool 55 kg/m3 (CFC free) semi-rigid stiffened at top and covered by 0.8mm grade 5251 H44 aluminum pre-painted cladding, estimated thermal value 37 Kcal/hr at 30°C.
Compartment	Open stainless steel spill compartments with provision for optional lids.
Document Holder / Earth	Fitted at the rear end, suitable for shipping papers, MSDS, etc. The Earth is located at the rear.
